The nursery is finally complete. The pack-n-play has been set up beside our bed for the past several weeks. Andy and I just walk by and stare at it each time, and surprisingly it hasn't become a collector of random clothing laying around. The car seat has yet to be installed, but we're getting there. The bottles have been washed. The clothes laundered. The pediatrician lined up. What else could we be forgetting? We are more than prepared to bring baby home. Ha! Are you kidding? We have no clue what's in store for us. We are in for quite the awakening...not sure about a rude one, but perhaps just a major life change.
I've posted pics of Banks' room below.
Thankfully, the only new piece of furniture we purchased was the glider and ottoman.
What was once my crib is now Banks' crib, painted by Dad.
It was a hard sell getting Andy to take down the ceiling fan and hang this outdoor lantern.

A vintage wire laundry basket that I spray-painted red.
This was my dad's desk as a kid, who would've thought it'd be used as a changing table..
A fun find from Sheffield's Antique Store.
This nifty little sweater ball was ordered in the wee hours of the night from Etsy.
If you ever need a piece of chicken wire, good luck.
The most comfortable chair in the house, our little glider from BabyTime.
We read this book to baby when Andy's in a mood...
My most favorite part of the nursery....the book wall. It makes me happy!
I've caught a lot of grief about not having a theme, but I'd like to say that these puppy dogs on the roman shade could possibly serve the purpose.
I'm purposefully leaving Banks' baby book out on the dresser so that I'm reminded to make notes of the memories soon to be made!
